What Resurf Is
Resurf is a time-capsule app for your thoughts. You write something, choose when you want it to resurface, and we email it back to you at that time.
What We Collect
- Your email address – so we can send you your resurfaces
- The messages you write – so we can send them back to you
- When you want them delivered – so we know when to send them
That's it!
What We Do With Your Data
- Store your messages securely until their scheduled resurface date
- Send them to you via email when the time comes
- Keep a record in your dashboard so you can browse past resurfaces
What We Don't Do
- Sell your data to anyone
- Share your data with third parties (except our email provider, Resend, which delivers your emails)
- Use your messages for training AI models
- Read your messages (we have better things to do, and honestly, it would be weird)
Data Retention
Your messages are stored until you delete them. If you want everything gone, just email frank@resurf.me and I'll wipe your data.
Security
Your data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a secure database. While we can't offer end-to-end encryption (we need to read the message to email it to you), we treat your data with care.
Who's Behind This
Resurf is built by Frank Lu, a solo developer. This isn't a faceless corporation. My reputation is directly tied to treating your data with respect.
